Found an old bottle that had been used as a "Home Brew" bottle by this older couple. The bottle has Manhattan Bottling Co. 342 Manhattan Ave Brooklyn, NY in raised lettering on it. Your family truly has lived the American Dream! Congratulations! Do you ship your soda to Indiana? Best wishes, Paul

I love your coffee soda. I'm also a huge fan of absinthe. I never could go for Sambuca, but a splash of absinthe in your espresso soda is something very special. I wonder what a bit of grappa might be like.

My family has been drinking Manhattan Special since before my grandmother was born. Being from 5th Avenue in NYC, we have an affinity for anything made well (with natural flavors), made in NY, and being Italian, we always ended a meal with a hot espresso. Manhattan Special was a way of combining all of that in a ready made bottle. We would drink it either ice cold from the fridge or warm from the case. Either way it was, and still is, a refreshing and invigorating drink. My first memory of drinking any kind of soda was of a Manhattan Special when I was around 2 years old. Even my dog likes it!

I'm a Brooklyn girl. I have been missing Manhattan Special for 22 years living in Washington State, north of Seattle. There are more "Espresso" stands out here than you can could ever need; not to mention Starbuck's. They make the latte's,The Breve's,The Mocha's, The Italian Sodas & Granita's.....but not even one has attempted even a cheap knockoff of the original espresso soda Manhattan Special. I can safely say that Washingtonians are coffe"Maniacs". They are creative with a shot of espresso, but I have yet to see "ANYONE" out here drink a shot of espresso in a Demi-Tasse with a twist of lemon rind and a hit of Anisette. They really don't know what they are missing. I have ordered that in very high end restaurants here & the response is usually a dumbfounded expression. In any case, the peeps out here would go KEEERazy for the Manhattan Special. You have a very "TREMENDOUS" untapped market out here. You should get some sort of a deal going with Costco or something! I would love to be able to buy it whenever I wanted... Gosh, do I miss it!!! So dang delicious!

I love Manhattan Special, I was turned on to it when I was 12 years old. I love that you mke it in diet now. 40 years later I still buy it, but my supermaket does not carry it anymore. Am still trying to find it. A special way I love to serve it is in expresso cups after dinner. My guests love it, especially in the summer!

I grew up in Greenwich Village and remember drinking Manhattan Special. Now 62 yrs later I moved to Sunny Florida and still enjoy my Manhattan Special. I found it recently in Joseph's in Boca and Western Beef also in Boca. Also you can get in Doris's Italian Market.

I absolutely love your espresso coffee soda. I'm from the Bronx, NY, but moved to Chicago years ago. I'm only 21 and one of the first things I can remember is going to Emilio's on Morris Park to grab a slice and a Manhattan Special. I just came back from a visit and grabbed myself 5 of the 28 ounce bottles. This was yesterday, and sadly they're all gone. I'm also sad to see that the large (28 oz) bottles aren't available online. Should I order a case of the 10oz'ers or should I wait to see if you make the 28s available? We'll see how long I can hold out. In the mean time, don't stop making your wonderful product. It's clear that so many people have fond memories of it :]

I live in the middle of illinois, not italian, but love good italian food. I was in my favorite pizzaria, Gallina's, and saw a bottle of manhattan special on the shelf. I asked the owner if it was any good, and he said it's the best. I love coffee but had never had a coffee soda. I tried the large bottle, and have been hooked ever since. The coffee flavor is perfect, as well as the cane sugar. I love your coffee soda, please dont stop making it.

I'm originally from Flatlands, Brooklyn (vat else?) and live in DC. Diet (high-test, not decaf) Manhattan Special is my all-time favorite soda but can't find it anywhere in the DC area. Every time I journey up to Bklyn, I'll go to Met Food on 7th Ave and bring home a case. I like to make a mocha "egg cream" with Manhattan Special by adding chocolate milk. Tomorrow, I'm gonna try chocolate milk and Vanilla Stoli. Now THAT'S a MAN'S drink!

I'm originally from Brooklyn. I've moved throughout the country, and my last adventure connected me with my now present wife, Karen. She is from Ohio. We came to Brooklyn to visit my family recently, and I introduced Karen to Manhattan Special.Needless to say, she is HOOKED. I wish the shipping charges were a little less.Regardless, we enjoy the beverage daily. Thank you for this.

We would love to see the old label come back 😉 I grew up on Manhattan Special, my father came from Greenpoint, NY and that is where it originated from. Little did I know that I was going to marry a Passaro (no relation to the company) and at our reception, we put bottles of Manhattan Special on each table. At that time, the label had Passaro's Famous on it. Great memories!

I too like Alexander remember getting a hot roast beef and melted mozzarella with brown gravy hero from Montes and a big bottle of Manhattan Special. I used to sneak drinking it when I was a kid when my father and godmother would buy it and would let me drink a little bit cause it was "coffee". Every time I drink it I remember going to the corner deli by my godmother and getting two or three bottles. I since moved away from brooklyn and unfortunately nobody outside of brooklyn knows what a manhattan special is or how good it is. I long for some everyday and hope to find out how to order some online

Well like most people from new york, we usually been to the deli a couple times because our grandmothers or own mothers wanted us to get milk, or butter, or bread, etc...One item every time i been to the deli caught my attention and i been addicted to them since i was 4yrs old...the good old "manhattan special"...i havent been to a deli in a long time after i joined the marine corps but one thing that happened to me while i am still here in afghanistan was my uncle tommy of bklyn, ny had talked to a couple people and they sent me not one bottle, or two bottles, but an entire case and tshirt and hat....i am so very thankful and it is my duty to keep the world a better place and i will continue to drink this product till i go. I want to thank the company, Semper Fi
