Everytime we visited family in Brooklyn, I couldn't wait to get to my Uncle Nino's pizzeria and grab a Manhattan Special. I've thought about having a case shipped to us in Michigan but now I hear that it's sold here! I can't wait to find out where!

I just simply love your Manhattan Special. I left NY 32 years ago and moved to Florida where I was still able to get my Manhattan Special. I have been in SC now since 2001 and I cannot find the soda anywhere. Then, I went to an Italian Restaurant (Tony's pizzeria on Haywood Road in Greenville SC) and there it was sitting on his counter. I was in my glory eating his pizza-the best I have had since NY and drinking my Manhattan Special. Is there any place in the Greenville SC area that this is sold...besides buying it by the bottle.? I need quantity!!!!! I even have my mid-western husband onto Manhattan Special!....................

i started drinking manhatten speacial 20 years ago. it was a hot jully morning. i had just woken only to find i was out of coffee.going to my local grocery store up the block from where i live to buy a cup of coffee at the local grocery store.as i passed the refri gorator box i noticed a small bottle of manhatten special siting on the shelf stareing out at me.the first thing i noticied was the deep rich color, and like a bee is drawn too honey i couldnt resist. at witch time i poured into a cup. added half and half. well i still remember the smooth rich taste like it was yesterday. and since that day there is not a day that pass's that i dont treat my self with a cup of manhatten special.i also now am enjoying all your other flavors. i am only disapointed that they are some times hard too find.

The smell of the coffee soda alone makes me happy. I picked up a few bottles of diet by accident and was really surprised at how good it was. I haven't been able to find Manhattan Special in CT so I was excited to grab a few bottles when back in NYC. I wish they sold the coffee beans too.

I only started drinking Manhattan Special a few years ago. I started working on the docks and I noticed thats what all the guys drank. A good friend of mine down there got me hooked on it and I have been drinking it ever since. I love it and it is my favorite soft drink. I also like the diet version.

What great soda! And it's even available now in Michigan! I'm hooked...I'd rather buy a few bottles of Manhattan Special than a case of the "other" kind! The coffee mixtures and the "pop" are equally fantastic! You have a great product here..and it sure doesn't hurt that it came from New york!

I absolutely LOVE this drink! I grew up drinking this when my dad owned his own business in Staten Island and we would go to the deli on the corner. My mom would get a buttered roll and Manhattan Special, so of course I would drink my mom's at a very young age (at least 5) and have loved it ever since! I have been out of NY for 23 years, but would search high and low for some whenever I visited NY. I haven't had it in so many years because I can't get it here in Indiana. I can't wait to order some! Thank you for making the absolute best drink in the world! 🙂

My wife and I were first introduced to the Manhattan Special back in 2001 when we visited family in Newburgh, NY. We were at an Italian food store (cannot remember name) and noticed the carbonated espresso drink. Naturally, we had to try it - long story short, we loved it... AND WANTED MORE! However, we could not find a retailer in Maryland where we currently live. The only time we're able to enjoy the Manhattan Special is to have family ship it down to us, which is very seldom. Our fingers are crossed that maybe someday, the espresso drink can be sold in our area. Thank you for creating such a fabulous and much needed beverage.

I remember when you couldn't find Manhattan Special anywhere outside the neighborhood. Those were the days when after playing punch ball in Mt. Carmel's yard, or kick the can on the corner on North 8th and Havemeyer or swimming in McCarren park pool, we went to Pat's Candy Store, put a dime in the Jukebox and open an iced cold bottle of Manhattan Special from the soda box for 15 cents! Now you can find it most anywhere and those memories all come back to me everytime I take that first sip! jpn77@hotmail.com

I remember back in 1968 a Staten Island pal Tony Fedele and I were in Fords, NJ. We stopped in an Italian deli and he ordered (in Sicilian) a sangwich of Capicola, Prosciutto, Provolne, lettuce, tomato, onions, oil & vinegar and trow on some sweet hot peepers too! Then he picked up a bottle of MANHATTAN SPECIAL. "Make mine the same as his" I said to the clark (in English) behind the counter and today in 2008 I have my Grand Daughter Juliette doing likewise. I'm a Bostonian and my daughter lives in Brooklyn. I came across Manhattan Special in a deli in Carroll Gardens and bought a single bottle which I drank on the spot. It was fabulous...never tasted a drink (other than beer) that I liked better. So I found a small Italian market down the street and bought a case. Now every time I'm in Brooklyn, I buy at least a dozen quarts to share with friends back here in Boston. My next door neighbor grew up in Brooklyn and her husband is from Kenya...they love the stuff and are always asking me when I'm going to Brooklyn. Followed up with: "and can you bring back some coffee soda?"

I grew up in Brooklyn, Carroll Street, between Clinton & Court. Anyway, Manhattan Special was a staple for "us kids in the neighborhood". We'd go to Pete's Candy Store on Court & 1st Place, grab an ice cold Manhattan Special and a bag of Wise Potato Chips and ahhh, heaven. Nothing beat the two. I've taken the love of Manhattan Special and passed it along to my children and surprise, surprise, they are enjoying the ice cold delicacy. As a matter of fact, they enjoy even more than that pricey other bottled "coffee specialty"...I do remember at one point during my childhood that Manhattan Special was introduced in cans, glad you brought back the glass bottles when you did...Thanks for keeping my childhood memories alive and for creating new ones with my children.

To all the friends I see on the list - it's great to see all of your names and statements and memories, incluyding drinking a nice cold one together. My dad (Angelo) actually worked there, and was on the MS bowling team! So of course, we drank it like water! Especially living on Jackson St! It's a little tougher to find in NJ, but I have and still drink it whenever I can!!!! Please stay in business!!

FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS A COUPLE OF ICE COLD "MANHATTANS" ARE THE BEST DRINK THERE IS. JUST AS IMPORTANT ARE THE THOUGHTS THAT COME TO MIND, FROM THE PAST AND NOW. MY 1ST MANHATTAN AT MY AUNT MARY'S CANDY STORE ON HAVERMEYER AND N6TH ST. SHE HAD A BIG HEART. MY "UNCLE PETE" WHO LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE FACTORY ON MANHATTAN AVE LOVED THEM ICE COLD. MY UNCLE MARIO WHO WAS THE BEST TURK ON THE BOAT IN THE MOUNT CARMEL FEAST IN THE LATE 50'S EARLY 60'S. IN THE SIXTIES, WATCHING MY DAD PLAY LEFTFIELD AT THE "TENNIS COURTS" MCCARRAN PARK, "JIMMINEAL" FROM THE NORTHSIDE. THE BEST DRINK BRINGS BACK GREAT THOUGHTS OF MY UNCLE'S AND AUNT WHO ARE IN A BETTER PLACE NOW. THANK GOD, MY DAD IS STILL WITH ME, AND HE STILL HAS A BETTER ARM THAN A FEW OF THE YANKEE OUTFIELDERS, EVEN AT 80. ME AND MY 2 BROTHERS PETER AND VINCENT ENJOY "MANHATTANS" ICE COLD LIKE UNCLE PETE DID ALL THE TIME. "YEAH"

Our family has been drinking this soda since the 1920's or perhaps earlier. I recall the old yellow & white label/graphic (changed a few years back)with a man seated at a dinner table and a woman standing over him, I think she was pouring the soda for him...... This product is timeless and I am happy that it's taste has never changed, even if the label has. It is old New York.

I grew up in soho, drank it there, moved to eny brooklyn, drank it there, am now in the bronx and buy/drink it every chance I get. When I lived in soho, a neighbor had in-laws in greenpoint, that was my first exposure to manhattan avenue, hence the manhattan special is named after the area is is bottled in, also i think the Passaro family is still the owner. they took the name off of the label, however. Keep up the good work, the drink is a classic and still delicious.

Hands down, the best coffee drinks money can buy. I empty the supermarket shelves whenever I get the chance, ad drive for miles looking for my next "fix". Who needs Starbucks when you can have a Manhattan Special.

I have been drinking Manhattan Special for as far back as I can remember, I am now 54. I've lived in Hoboken all my life and this has been a Hoboken drink. I'm happy to see it is now in our local Shoprite and hope you continue providing it there. In addition, since I cannot have sugar, I'm happy to see a diet version, tastes just as good as the original. A happy drinker

Greetings from Austin, TX. I was up in Middletown, NY yesterday picking up Manhattan Special to bring home to Texas with me. I LOVE the giant bottles! You're the whole reason I drink coffee! My husband and I are addicted to your soda, and we can't seem to find it anywhere here. We can't get enough of the stuff! We hope you sell it down here very soon, because you already have a great fan base. God Bless the Manhattan Special! 🙂

Growing up in Canarsie "back in the day" a Manhattan Special was a real treat. It was really a big deal. I always have a case at barbecues and parties. Always starts up some sort of converstaion, people from Bklyn love it and people from...somewhere else, make that wierd face like they just dont get it!

I have been drinking you product for most of my 51 years. Since I moved to Pennsylvania it's hard to find your product out here. I have to drive back to good old Brooklyn, New York to get it. I have to buy it by the case. You keep making your great product, and I will keep driving to New York to get it.

Growing up in New Jersey we made many trips into New York just to purchase Manhattan Special. To find it now so many years later = what can I say - This is absolutely WONDERFUL. A real treat for anyone who has never tasted it.

I work at a Super Foodtown (Big Supermarket) in New Jersey and I bring Manhattan Special in and we go through cases like crazy. Everybody that used to live in Brooklyn that moved to Jersey go crazy over it. The espresso soda is the best thing I've ever tasted. Their soda's are outstanding too! I'm still trying to bring the Orange and Gassosa in, but they don't seem to have it available 🙁 .. don't ever change your recipe!! 16oz would be nice though 🙂

I have been drinking Manhattan Special all my life. While growing up in Coney Island, my grandfather used to take me to the candy store where he would buy me a "soda" and he would have his "special Special". He would give me a sip and every once in a while I could talk him into buying me one too. Once I was old enough to cross the strret on my own I would cross to the candy store and buy my own. I still love them to this day but living near Albany they are hard to find. I especially like to pour some over vanilla ice cream......or to all a little additional flavoring (Tuaca). After all these years it still tastes the same......thanks for keeping up the quality. It is rare to find a company willing to do that these days.

My Grandfather used to bring me to the corner store on or near Fort Hamilton Parkway and 86th St (early 70's), and we used to get a manhattan special together. It was the best soda flavor then and still is today. I can't wait to try the cappucino flavor. Thank you for the memories!! Ciao
